Shoogloo, the digital marketing group appointed Bhupinder Tomar as its Group CEO, effective 1st February 2016. Capitalizing on over fifteen years of work experience in managing large multi-country operations in three continents of Asia, Africa and Europe, Tomar will drive Shoogloo’s operations.
His current role in the company entails managing all day-to-day operations and decisions, implementing the company’s long and short term plans and guiding its strategic vision.
Commenting on his new role, Tomar said, “I am absolutely overwhelmed to have been asked to take on this role, and excited about the possibilities ahead. Shoogloo’s profound knowledge in digital marketing and its three distinct business areas are positioned very well to tap new opportunities during this age of technological disruption. Prior to making his entrepreneurial debut in India, Tomar’s most recent stint was with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies as their Chief Operating Officer for Africa in Nairobi, Kenya. In the given role, he was responsible for management of eighteen offices across the continent with focus on strategy, program planning, staffing, leading, and controlling program quality.
