RAM Week 51: Delhi & Bangalore players witnesses dip; Mumbai players gains listenership


RAM1Delhi
Radio City remained at third position with 12.7 per cent of listenership pie. With 11.7 per cent of total market shares, Big FM occupied fourth spot, while Red FM stood at fifth position with 10.4 per cent shares.
Fever FM’s Evening Drive with RJ Nitin occupied the top spot, followed by Zara Si Life with RJ RhichaVyas and Full on Punjabi with RJ Avinash.
Mumbai
For Mumbai FM radio players, week was good as every player added some listeners to their kitty. Big FM maintained its lead and its listenership also went slightly up from 18.1 per cent of total markets shares to 18.3 per cent shares. Radio City stood strong at second spot with 17.8 per cent of listenership pie, up from last week’s 17 per cent shares.
Fever FM remained at third spot and its listenership went up from 15 per cent of total market shares in week 50 to 15.4 per cent shares. With 12.8 per cent of listenership pie, Radio Mirchi stood at fourth spot, up from week 50’s 12.5 per cent shares. Red FM occupied fifth position with 11.2 per cent of total market shares.
Big FM’s Suhana Safar with Anu Kapoor climbed to top spot, while Radio City’s Kal Bhi Aaj Bhi with RJ Gaurav slipped to second position. Big FM’s Breakfast Show with RJ Siddharth remained at third spot.
Kolkata
Radio Mirchi topped the chart once again, but its listenership decreased from 20 per cent of listenership pie in week 50 to 19.4 per cent shares. Fever FM stood at second spot with 14.8 per cent of total market shares, up from last week’s 14.5 per cent shares.
Big FM remained at third position with 14.3 per cent of listenership pie. Oye FM and Aamar FM occupied fourth and fifth spot with 10.8 and 9.3 per cent of total market shares, respectively.
Radio Mirchi’s Kaali Kotha with RJ Jaganath and Breakfast show with RJ Mir topped the chart once again. Big FM’s Breakfast Show with RJ Khas Koushik returned third position.
Bangalore
Like Delhi, Bangalore FM radio players too had a tough time in week 50. Radio City continued to lead with 23.2 per cent of total market shares, down from previous week’s 23.8 per cent shares. At second spot was Big FM, its listenership also went down from 21.6 per cent of listenership pie in week 50 to 20.5 per cent shares.
Radio Mirchi remained at third spot with 16.2 per cent of total market shares, down from week 50’s 16.7 per cent shares. Fever FM occupied fourth position with 14 per cent of listenership pie, followed by Red FM with 6.1 per cent shares.
Radio City’s City Muthu with RJ Rachna climbed to the top, while last week’s topped Big FM’s Big Coffee with RJ Shruti slipped to second position. Radio Mirchi’s Hi Benguluru with RJ Smitha returned to third spot.
