“I move on after a successful tenure with Sakal and look forward to taking the luxury of a short sabbatical for around a month. I will be turning entrepreneur in the new media space and should roll out my next initiative by June 2016,” commented Amonkar.
Amonkar joined the Sakal media group four years ago and handled the marketing and sales functions along with new business initiatives. He has also worked with The Times of India Group (BCCL), and had set up his own media venture, Kemistry Media Solutions in the past.
